Health Promotion & Wellness

FSC’s Health Promotion & Wellness department prepares students for careers in administrative and technical health fields, focused primarily on individual, intellectual, and mental health.

As part of the Office of Distance Learning’s graphic design team, I was tasked with designing a Brightspace template for the department’s asynchronous, or online, courses. My work included designing banners, PowerPoint slide templates, and creating an overarching aesthetic for the department.

Regarding the design, the green gradient creates a modern, healthy aesthetic, with the white background allowing the environment, or surrounding space, to feel sterile. The Health Promotion & Wellness department, being as broad as it is, encompasses a wide array of different studies and courses. To successfully represent each element of the department, colored icon’s accent the course, each icon showcasing a different Health and Wellness focus.
